Welcome.

Hi.

Hey.

Hello.

I believe that If we’re for real about having impact, creating change, inciting healing, having a thriving business, and enabling transformation… we need to be rooted in our values. I also believe that explicitly sharing our values is a prosocial gesture that fosters and supports transparency, consensual engagement, and trust.

This is the page where you get to look under the hood and see what’s driving the w0rk I do.

From here you can make an informed choice about whether my work and I are a match for you.

I want you to know where I stand and what I stand for with my work and life.

I want you to feel lit up about investing your time, energy, and resources into working with me because you know (and respect) what’s behind the work you’re investing in.

My Values

Wellness, care, courage, pleasure, and beauty are 5 words that sum up my core values. Read on to learn more about what I stand for and where I create from.

This is very much an alive conversation for me that will evolve and refine as I do.

Dignity, Agency, Safety

I am here for a world where all bodies are safe.

All bodies are respected, seen, and valued.

I am here for a world where humans of all kinds are financially secure, fully resourced, and valued for their beingness as well as their contributions.

I believe in the diversity of thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and experiences, that come from truly inclusive gathering, working, and co-creating with people of different races, gender expressions, body shapes and sizes, languages, ethnicities, religions, abilities, orientations, lived experiences, and ages in an environment.

I strive to create internal and external spaces, offerings, conditions, and practices that are inclusive, risk-worthy, and welcoming.

Pro-Relationship

My life and work are built on relationships. At the core of everything, relationships are what hold us together, lift us up, move us forward, and inspire us to create a better world.

The work folks do with me is relational, it’s personal, and it’s about individual and collective thriving. I am here for and with my clients. I see them. I care about them. I believe in them. I invest in them. I wouldn’t want anything less.

Generative Plenty

Generative plenty is the kind of abundance that creates rather than depletes, it’s found in exchanges that leave all involved feeling fueled.

Being fully resourced as a woman is essential. And until there’s been enough anti-oppression work done individually and collectively, this is even more true for women of color.

Plenty as a value looks like having enough. Enough rest, enough time, enough energy, enough money, enough food, and enough support. - for yourself and others.

Do you feel in your body how important that is?

Wellness

Very simply put, feeling good, grounded, safe, strong, and able, in our bodies and minds is one of the greatest privileges, and it’s one that doesn’t come easy for all of us.

I have spent decades studying and practicing holistic wellness in my life and work. I do this for personal reasons, as a way to support my clients, and also because I am in a deep love affair with healing and wholeness as ways of being.

Education

I am a lifelong learner and unlearner.

The areas I most directly pursue in terms of my own ongoing education include, health and wellness, trauma healing, photography, nature teachings and earth medicine, anti-racism, mothering, embodiment, sexuality, inclusive feminism, ancestral wisdom resilience and reconciliation, vocati, and the art of education + facilitation itself.

Mothering

No one is untouched by mothering. The mothering we are given or not given, the mothering we give or don’t give, shapes us in fundamental and potent ways.

Mothering by definition is the act of supporting, nurturing, tending to, providing for, creating, nourishing, and having faith in the other.

Mothering is one of the most fundamental gestures of being a human; mothering lives deep in our bones, our cells, our conscious and unconscious memories. We are designed to create, to gestate, to birth, to nurture, and to liberate. All of us have this capacity. In every iteration my work is about birth work and mothering.

Honest beauty

Beauty has nothing to do with pretty.

Beauty is life force/spirit/creative intelligence/god made manifest.

When we see ourselves and others in a non-fetishizing way, when we see ourselves and others as beautiful expressions of nature, when we see ourselves and others through a lens of curiosity, wonder, compassion, and genuine interest, our nervous systems settle and we access the honest beauty that’s alive in front of us. We access and witness our humanity.

Honest beauty matters because unlike false beauty, which presses on pain points and is divisive, honest beauty activates humanity, embodiment, responsibility, and connection.
